"Don't tell me your age; you probably wouldn’t tell the truth anyway, but your waiter may know!"
Did you know that doing a little “dinner math” your waiter, or banquet manager, can tell you how old you are. Try this to find out.
No cheating…
1. First, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat to a restaurant. (more than once but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold).
3. Add 5.
4. Multiply it by 50.
5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758.
6. Now subtract the four-digit year that you were born.
7. You should now have a three digit number.
The solution:
The first digit of this was your original number. (i.e., how many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)
The next two numbers are…
YOUR AGE ! ------ (was the waiter right?)
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2008) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

I stumbled across your blog and love it. I'm a recruiter for our industry and have a great appreciation for your message. I would also like to share your message about guessing someone's age on my blog, and can give you details if it's ok. Great work!
